We don't always talk to the one we want to talk to.
So this poem is for all of you who miss someone, but still care for them.
My Wishes to the Absent:
We don't talk
And that's okay,
But sometimes
I still might pray
That you have
A brilliant day,
That you're sunny
In the rain,
That your life
Is bright always,
That you're safe
In every way,
That every obstacle
You will slay,
That coping with stress
You still can play,
That you may shine
Like Saturn in May,
That evil and darkness
Are kept at bay,
That you know I wish
To once more say "Hey"
Even though I'm miles
And miles away.
We don't talk,
And that's okay.
I'm not with you,
But I'm here to stay.
