I still don't know what happened, all I remember is feeling low on oxygen - like I needed fresh air - and wanting to lie down. I recall that I forgot to turn on the fan in the bathroom before I showered, and I took a particularly long shower because I was shaving my pits, arms, and legs before shampooing my hair. So maybe I let too much steam build up in the bathroom. But it also may have been the fact that I didn't eat anything all morning - all I had was a cup of coffee. And to be fair, I wasn't hungry anyway. Because if I was hungry, I would have prowled the kitchen for something.
But I remember when I started on my hair, I was feeling like there was too much hot steam in the bathroom (the upstairs bathroom is pretty small), so I turned the water colder. Besides, scalding hot water is bad for your hair and scalp anyway lol
But as I was shampooing my hair, I started to feel weird, like I needed fresh air and also needed to lie down. I realized at some point I forgot to turn on the fan for ventilation. I remember hurrying to rinse my hair so I can get out of the bathroom and at least into the hallway.
I remember turning off the shower and feeling weak. I remember grabbing a towel, not bothering to dry off, stumbling towards the fan switch, and then realizing I need to open the bathroom door a little bit and get some air - not giving a damn that I was butt naked and not even wrapped the towel around myself.
Next thing I knew, I opened my eyes and saw lights above me. I must've realized I was lying on the bathroom floor. And then suddenly I was lying on my back in the hallway, and my parents and brother were around me. My mom had covered me in towels and my dad was giving me water to drink and had also brought up a donut for me to eat. Apparently I had fainted and fallen in the bathroom, and then again in the hall. I don't remember falling on the bathroom floor, nor do I remember how I even got in the hallway. Apparently I didn't even scream when I fell.
I don't know if it was the fresh air, the water, or the donut that helped, but I felt better within minutes. I'm fine now, but I can't believe I actually fainted for the first time ever! Like I fell unconscious and now I know what it actually feels like.
